Research On The Impact Of Foreign Direct Investment On The Transformation And Upgrading Of China's Industrial Structure

Since the Reform and Opening up,Foreign Direct Investment(FDI)in China has made remarkable achievements,until 2017,we have become the world's most populous country in developing countries to absorb FDI for 26 years.FDI,a kind of production factor input,has a significant impact on China's economic growth,industrial restructuring and upgrade,meanwhile,enhancing the international competitiveness.It is also more and more important to improve the ability of regional industry innovation in China.At present,China is in an important period of structural transformation,and it is of great significance to study the impact of foreign direct investment on the transformation and upgrading of China's industrial structure.This paper mainly adopts the methods of normative analysis and empirical analysis,firstly reviews the domestic and foreign research about the relationship between foreign direct investment and industrial structure of high quality,and we track literature research conclusion at the forefront,based on the definition of the research concept and definition,the breakthrough is China's specific conditions,according to the time clue,we introduce China's foreign direct investment development status,including the origins,FDI industry distribution,regional distribution and policy changes,then introduce the transformation of industrial structure,based on the above studies,empirical analysis and normative analysis of the relationship between the two.In the normative theory analysis,we focus on the technology spillover effect,competition effect,linkage effect and crowding out effect of enterprises,in the empirical analysis,we finally come to the conclusion that foreign direct Investment has accelerated the upgrading of China's industrial structure,and has a positive effect on transformation and upgrading.Finally,according to the existing problems and development trends,this paper gives some policy suggestions on the promotion of industrial structure transformation and upgrading in China.
