Research On The Policy Of The Targeted Poverty Reduction Strategy In China

The targeted poverty reduction strategy is an inevitable choice to realize the goals of building moderately prosperous society and ultimately achieving common prosperity.After decades of efforts China has achieved great success in poverty alleviation,helping most of the rural poor get out of poverty.However,the previous poverty alleviation work was not detailed enough.For example,the poverty alleviation policies and industrial poverty alleviation measures were more widely covered rather than meeting different needs of different poor households.Under this circumstances General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed that China must implement targeted poverty reduction strategy.Suzhou is a typical poverty-stricken area and it is also one of the key areas for poverty alleviation in Anhui Province.This dissertation is based on the theory of Maslow's demand level,the theory of income redistribution,the theory of common prosperity and the theory of targeted poverty reduction.The collected data were analyzed and collated by literature research,qualitative analysis and field investigation.The targeted poverty reduction strategy has achieved great success:the total number of poor people has reduced by half and the incidence of poverty has reduced to 3%.But the previous poverty alleviation work was not detailed enough.For the poor,we need to identify accurately and improve the efficiency of resources utilization.We also need a professional team of poverty alleviation work.In order to further promote China's precision poverty alleviation work,improvement should be made from the following aspects.First we should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the poverty-reducing workers and the poor.Second we should improve the system mechanism of the targeted poverty reduction strategy.Last but not least we should optimize the specific policies and measures of the targeted poverty reduction strategy.
