With the development of economic globalization and the deepening of reform,the market competition is becoming more and more brutal and fierce.The essence of the current market competition is competition for talent resources,and the importance of human resource management is becoming more and more highlighted.Tourist hotel,as a labor-intensive enterprise,should pay more attention to the management of human resources.In recent years,the Qingdao tourist hotels got great development,but also faced with new challenges.This paper reviews the theory of human resources management at home and abroad,and domestic and foreign study of hotel human resources management,with its focuses on the strategic human resources management theory,content-motivation theory and human capital theory.Based on the investigation into the basic situation of Qingdao tourist hotels,this paper summarizes the characteristics of human resources management of Qingdao tourist hotels,which include younger staffs,higher staff turnover,greater psychological pressure and demand volatility.Qingdao tourist hotels are faced with new challenges,such as the change of human management itself,human demand is greater than the manpower supply,and the contradiction between high staff turnover frequency and the hotel's continuous development.Through the case study of human resources management of Qingdao tourist hotels,this paper then sums up the problems that exsit in the process of human resources management,and analyzes the causes of the problems.At last,this paper puts forward some corresponding measures according to the present situation of Qingdao tourist hotels,including establishing the management idea of ‘employee-oriented',scientific and reasonable salary incentive system,performance evaluation system and employee training and education system,and strengthening the enterprise cultural construction of tourist hotels.Improvement of human resources management of Qingdao tourist hotels has a vital significance on improving its core competition.
