Research On The Development Of Characteristic Industries In Chentang Town, Shigatse, Tibet

The characteristic industry is an industry that can be used to develop an industry in a country or region with its special advantage,making the development of the regional economy.In recent years,with the continuous growth of regional economy and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,special economy and special industry have been became the significant aspects which distinguish themself from other region.Due to the geographical position,resource,productivity layout,population quality,and cultural traditions,It has been proved that the same economy development mode can't be used in diverse region.Therefore,it is effective measure to achieve rich people and strong district objectives and it is only route to realize the goal of building a moderately prosperous society by 2020.that the situation of regional characteristic industry be mastered systematically and implementation path of the characteristic industry be formulated according to the local conditions.Sherpas,which is the cross-border ethnic group,is one of the minority nationalities with less population in our country.Due to their particularity,Sherpas have been attracted attention from the government of the Tibet autonomous region in recent years.Chentang Town,located at the border between China and Nepal,is the main place which sherpas in china lived in.It's beyond all doubt that implementation of the policy of invigorating the border and enriching the people,and development ofborder economy effectively are important steps to realize the strategy of“governing the country must governing the frontier and governing the frontier must stabilize Tibet ”.After comprehensive investigation and research comparison,it is a inevitable and necessary choice for the Sherpa people in Chentang Town to develop characteristic industries.Through analysis and research of the Sherpas' characteristic industries in Chentang Town,we fully understand and recognize their advantages and development methods.Firstly,this paper analyzed the present situation of Chentang Town in detail,and also analyzed the causes of the problems of development of characteristic industry in Chentang Town.Secondly,the present situation of location advantages,resource advantages,and social environment advantages in Chentang Town were analysed in the paper.finally,several related countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to develop characteristic industry in Chentang Town.After analysis,the following conclusions have been drawn: Chentang Town can be characterized by the development of the chicken claw industry,bamboo processing industry,the Sherpa folk experience tour,the boutique tourism of the Qimatang ditch and the border trade,which can to overcome its existing problems such as low industrial scale,backward infrastructure,weak brand awareness,monopoly of family-owned enterprises,lack of professionals,imperfect market system and so on,forming a long-term,unified,effective and complete and sustainable industrial chain,constantly improving production conditions,expanding production scale,improving the market influence and expanding the training of talents to achieve the maximum benefits of characteristic industries scientifically and effectively...
