M Research Institute is a petrochemical enterprise.Although it is not a continuous production all year round,it is only an experimental device.However,all equipment and its functions are no different from those of other normal production devices.The process flow is also carried out completely according to the production device.The biggest difference is that M Institute's process pipelines and equipment are smaller.The main purpose of the Institute is to provide data for other enterprises through experiments and to make its own contribution to the ability to expand the scale of the experiment and even build real production devices that are thousands of times larger than the experimental devices.Today,all chemical companies have their own corporate culture and follow the concept.Whether it is a foreign company or a domestic company,the most important concept is not "safety first." Security is equivalent to that "1".Without it,all the zeros behind it have no meaning.Petrochemical enterprises have some common features: flammable,explosive,high temperature and high pressure,toxic and harmful,and large-scale intensive devices.Due to these distinctive characteristics,the consequences of an accident are quite serious.In order to reduce the chance of an accident,the correct understanding and scientific application of safety instruments is particularly important.Safety instrument systems appear like guardians of the country.Based on the application of one of the safety instrument systems of ethylpropanone rubber plant in M research institute,this paper discusses the classification and specific function of safety instrument system,as well as the composition and technical characteristics of safety instrument system.Through the development process of safety instrument system and the determination method of safety grade,the relevant knowledge of safety instrument system and the principle of engineering design are clarified,and how to maintain and manage the safety instrument system of M Institute is discussed.The management and maintenance of safety meter systems have attracted the attention of all enterprises in recent years.Every year,safety accidents are unavoidable and the harm caused varies from one place to another in petrochemical enterprises across the country because of various reasons.In the process of analyzing the causes and how to minimize the frequency of accidents,it was concluded that people's understanding of safety instrumentation systems is too superficial,and safety instrumentation systems are basically a kind of decoration in enterprises.Before some accidents occurred,Safety meter systems have often given people warnings,but in most cases people choose to ignore it.After abloody accident,people have a new understanding of safety meter systems.In recent years,petrochemical enterprises have learned all aspects of safety meter systems,and all petrochemical devices must be fully considered in the early stages of design.The purpose is to ensure that the devices are successfully driven under completely safe conditions.Of course,this does not take into account human error.The importance of the safety instrument system was fully considered at the beginning of the design of the M Institute's ethylene-rubber device.For the process of the ethylene-rubber device and the technical requirements for interlocking control,the Hollytis system was selected.The hardware configuration,software configuration,SOE configuration and other aspects of Hollytis system are introduced in detail,and offline simulation debugging and online debugging are carried out.On the Safety Instrument System of completing system debugging,All interlocking points in the site are tested according to the process interlocking conditions.After the test is completed,it is put into actual operation.The Hollytis system used this time replaced the original AB PLC system.The device was very successful and operated well,which improved the security,reliability,and maintainability of the system.The maintenance personnel are familiar with the location and function of the safety instrument on the scene,and they also have an intuitive understanding of the safety instrument system.During the trial operation phase,the safety instrument system starts the interlock action at the first time whenever a failure occurs.Avoidance of danger.The success of this drive is of great significance and can provide reference and guidance for the successful application of this system for the extensive application and design of similar systems in petrochemical enterprises.At the same time,for companies of the same kind as M Research Institute,how to integrate separate safety instrument systems using advanced automation technology into a whole so that they are no longer scattered.This is to want to make good use of the safety instrument system of similar enterprises have a great reference.It is believed that the maintenance and management of the safety instrument system will be a topic that petrochemical enterprises will never avoid now and even in the future.
