As an important part of rolling functional components,the roller linear guide plays a supporting and guiding role in mechanical movement.Depending on its low friction,high rigidity and high reliability,it is widely used in CNC machine tools and semiconductor optoelectronic components processing equipment.The development of test equipment for guide by-products,formulation of feasible test schemes,study and analysis of test data under actual working conditions,have important guiding significance for improving the performance of roller linear guide by-products.The theoretical research status of guide pairs at home and abroad as well as the testing level of domestic manufacturers and universities are analyzed.The performance testing equipment of guide pairs developed by different manufacturers is compared.On the basis of Hertz theory,the mechanical model of the roller linear guide is established,and its contact stiffness is analyzed.Based on Palmgren formula,force and deformation of the roller are deduced,and the theoretical calculation of stiffness is simplified,which provides theoretical guidance for experimental research.According to technical characteristics of the guideway pairs under test,the overall design scheme of static stiffness test bench is determined,and the subdivisional schemes are verified.The test-bed is mainly composed of mechanical body,hydraulic loading system,control system and test system.According to the principle of static stiffness test,sensors,data acquisition card and important functions and algorithms of software are introduced.The test software can display data in real time and post-process test data.The test bench applies hydraulic load,which can meet the test requirements of different types of guide pairs.Based on the developed comprehensive performance test bench of roller linear guide pair,a series of tests were carried out on the kinematic accuracy,friction and reliability of roller linear guide pair.On the basis of comparative analysis of test results of different guide pairs,influencing factors of roller linear guide performance were put forward.The modal analysis of the roller linear guide is carried out by means of experimental modal analysis technology.The modal parameters of roller linear guide,including modal frequencies and related modes,are obtained by hammering excitation method.By changing parameters mode of guide pair such as pre-tightening lubrication,the change of modal parameters is compared and analyzed,which is consistent with the experimental results of predecessors and proves correctness of the modal test.The research results indicate direction of efforts to improve performance of roller linear guide,which has important guiding significance for the structural design,manufacturing and engineering application of the roller linear guide.
