Coating as a decorative and protective material has a long history in china,though it belongs to a traditional industry,with the foreign companies entered to china in early 1990's accompanied with fast products upgrading,more and more multi-functional and environmental friendly coatings demanded in the market which result in fierce competition,the R&D life shortened quickly and also the R&D risk increased.New product as an innovation activity which is the core competition ability of the enterprise.So it is very important to study the R&D risk management in N coating company in order to ensure the success of the new product and improve the competition ability of the enterprise in the market.This article based on the R&D angle to study the R&D projects in N coating company.And with the waterborne UV R&D project elaborated the risk management in N coating company.Combined theory with practical methods to analysis the risk management in the process of R&D.Identify the risk of the R&D project and assess the whole risk level of the project,then quantitative evaluated the technical risk of the project and make risk response plan.The main purpose of this article is to identify more and more risk in the R&D process then to make measures to control the risk in order to minimize the risk rate and risk damage,make sure the success of the project.
