With the transformation of China from a manufacturing country to an innovative nation,some projects such as intelligent and unmanned manufacturing,etc.are being initialized in Baosteel internally.As one of the projects related to independent intellectual property rights,the renovation of domestic laser welder is involved as well.To meet the market demand and generate economic benefits,the project must be completed on time.However the traditional way of project progress control is too straightforward and out of date,in which a huge amount of wastes were caused due to a lot of resources were invested.Therefore an advanced method of project progress control needs to be sought out to shorten the duration and optimize the investment.Firstly from this thesis,the renovation project of domestic Laser Welding machine is briefed and the research of setting the on-site installation and test plan are stressed.The plans for managing historical progresses of renovation projects of Laser Welding machine are analyzed and studied.Due to the impacts from resources conflicts and other uncertain factors,problems like project delay arise.As a result,the critical chain which is based on fuzzy theory is introduced as an elicitation.The critical path is recognized by means of CPM,where some buffer is added to prevent the adverse impacts coming from those uncertain factors.The possible and safety duration of sub-processes are estimated by fuzzy theory to set up project buffer and feeding buffer.The consumption of the buffer is monitored in execution process.This methodology covers the shortage of traditional way of progress control effectively,improves and optimizes the system of corporate project progress control,which plays a positive role in smooth and efficient execution for subsequent renovation projects of the company.
