With the popularity of the automobiles increasing in our society, and the gasoline quality problem happened in recent years. As a general consumer goods, the concern of gasoline quality from government, enterprise, people has greatly enhanced. With the increasing of the social clients’ sample analysis and the frequency quality supervision, the amount of gasoline sample analysis in the quality inspection center is rising rapidly as well. As the primary sample analysis form of the SP Quality Inspection Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center). In the case of the increasing amount of sample analysis, with the high analysis period and often delay, the carrying capacity and the efficiency of the center are severely restricted.In this thesis, according to the problems existing in the Center gasoline sample analysis, propose the optimization and management of the project schedule through the critical chain project management. In accordance with the actual work conditions of the Center, the project work is described, breaking down and quantitative analysis through expert interview, quantitative calculation method and so on. The critical chain was recognized and adjusted by utilizing the heuristic algorithm ACTIM criterion and resource constraints, and the buffers were set with the using of the elastic coefficient method. On the basis of that, this thesis puts forward the feasible scheme of the critical chain project schedule management. Meanwhile, the buffers are used for monitoring the execution of the project schedule, this thesis proposed the different schedule management schemes of the execution in various stages, to reduce the project risk of delay. The critical chain project schedule management method is applied to the actual work conditions, and the monitoring of project schedule execution process and the application of the buffers are illustrated in this thesis.Through the actual case analysis, with the use of critical chain project management method, the efficiency is greatly improved in the situation of the existing resources, making good effect for the reduction of delay in sample analysis and increase the carrying capacity of the Center, this thesis make up for deficiency research of quality inspection center sample analysis work in the project schedule management to some extent. and provides a reference for the same industry quality inspection agencies of the project schedule management method.
