As a very interesting and exciting amusement equipment,roller coaster is very popular with the public.Because of its fast speed and high position,once a fault occurs,it often causes casualties,so the safety and reliability must be guaranteed.The safety study of the roller coaster structure is an important part of guiding the specific structural design to ensure the safe operation of the roller coaster.Taking the new type roller coaster developed by a company as an example,based on the safety considerations of the design,the dynamic model of the roller coaster was established,and the force of the roller coaster was analyzed.Then the finite element model of the roller coaster was established,the structural strength and the working ability of key components of the roller coaster were calculated.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the designed three-dimensional model of roller coaster,the dynamic analysis model of roller coaster was established by using the ADAMS software.The force of each kinematic pair and key joint of the roller coaster during its operation was determined by computer simulation.(2)The finite element model of the key structure of roller coaster seat frame,frame,connecting frame and wheel frame was established by ANSYS Workbench software.According to the dynamics analysis results of roller coaster,the most unfavorable load condition was determined.Then the inertia release method was used to establish the constraint conditions,and the calculation of the static strength and fatigue strength of key structural members about the roller coaster was completed by considering the influence of the roller coaster inertia force and moment of inertia.(3)According to the dynamic analysis results,the load of each kinematic pair was determined,and the working ability of the bearing,pin,slewing support and hinge connection at the kinematic pair was checked.(4)According to the dynamic analysis results,the load at the joint of each bolt group was determined.The load of the most unfavorable bolt in the bolt group was analyzed and calculated,and the strength check of the bolt connection was completed according to the national standard.The research methods and conclusions of this paper provided an accurate and quantitative analysis results for the roller coaster's mechanism design,key component selection and structural optimization,and showed a meaningful guidance for the structural design of the roller coaster.
