A Study On The Supervision And Administration Of Work Safety

Work safety matters a lot.It concerns the safety of people's lives and property,and the overall stability and prosperity of the society.The effect of government's work safety supervision and administration is directly related to the level of work safety governance countrywide.The supervisory responsibilities and supervisory system of governments at all levels and relevant functional departments are all specified in the "Law of Work Safety".Street offices are at the bottom of the pyramid of the government supervision system.It is the first line of defense for safe work.The quality of supervision and administration policies and measures are reflected in the implementation of the grass-roots governments which include street offices.The author combines his own working practices and takes the work of safety supervision and administration of Chengxi Street Office,Maoming City,Guangdong Province as an example to study the problems,which are discussed from the following aspects:responsibility of supervision and administration,structure of supervision and administration,human resources,teamwork,funding input,and work implementation.The reasons are analyzed in depth,and finally some countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the work of safety supervision and administration of the street offices.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part describes the research purpose and significance of the topic as well as summarizing the current achievements at home and abroad,and briefly explains the research ideas and research methods;the second part describes the related concepts and theoretical foundations,such as the concept of street offices,relevant laws and regulations of the government's supervisory responsibilities and system.The third part is the core of the thesis,which analyzes the work safety supervision and administration of Chengxi Street Office in Maoming City,including the analysis of the current situation,problems and reasons.The fourth part is about the strategies of strengthening the work of work safety supervision and administration of Chengxi Street Office in Maoming City.Several countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,including raising awareness and distinguishing responsibilities,optimizing and perfecting the supervision structure,ensuring the basic protection of people and property,and promoting the supervision work to achieve practical results.The fifth part is the conclusion of this research and the future outlook.The author hopes that through the research in this thesis,in addition to providing suggestions for improving the work of work safety supervision and administration of Chengxi Street Office in Maoming City,it will also provide useful ideas for other street offices or township governments facing similar problems.
