Contemporary human beings are faced with many challenges,and higher and higher requirements have been put forward for scientific thinking,innovative consciousness and how to solve practical problems,which is equivalent to higher requirements for human comprehensive literacy.In life,we encounter a growing number of comprehensive problems,which requires that people need to be able to cross the field,many aspects of the comprehensive quality of the problem.The main content of the general education is teacher's explanation,student's practice and examination,which is not suitable for the social innovation and development.This is why the STEM education system stands out.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the teaching mode under the STEM concept is a comprehensive teaching mode combining knowledge,technology and practice,which is a new development direction in the future.This article analysis of writing articles in the concept of STEM at home and abroad,to grasp the connotation of the concept of STEM,further investigation on the development of the Chinese concept of the STEM,looking for relevant outstanding case and learning,especially some essential parts and on the basis of the secondary vocational school's numerical control programming and operating the concept of class into the STEM part extracted,finally try to use these essential parts combined with NC programming basis and operation course of case design.From the perspective of theoretical knowledge,this paper is mainly based on the basics of numerical control programming and operation courses,and systematically researches STEM concepts,which can make the research results of STEM concepts more accurate and practical.Subjectively,this paper studies the literature of STEM ideas at home and abroad and conducts the teaching practice of STEM ideas.From the investigation and study,through the survey of secondary vocational school students,teachers and Internet enterprise demand for CNC talents,secondary vocational schools should focus on cultivating the students' ability of hands-on practice ability and engineering exploration,the introduction and to carry out the concept of STEM in the secondary vocational school classroom,can inspire students' thinking ability,exploring ability thoroughly and comprehensive utilization ability,will be a perfect combination,the idea of the science and engineering.Finally,based on STEM concept,the teaching case design of CNC programming foundation and operation course in secondary vocational school is carried out,which provides some references for the subsequent teaching practice of STEM concept,and makes some changes in the classroom teaching mode and teaching evaluation method in secondary vocational school.
