Research On Construction And Testing Technology Of Smart Substation Relay Dynamic Simulation Platform

Smart substation is a new substation constructing based on IEC61850 standard,which is an important part of the construction of unified strong smart grid.Compared to traditional substation,the distinctive features of smart substation is using smart primary device and network secondary equipment,information needed for the protection device in the secondary system,such as analog information,equipment running status,allowing/blocking signal transmitted by the cable connection will changed to optical fiber transmission,the transmission of analog information and digital output adopt sampling values of IEC61850 statute SV services and general object-oriented substation event(GOOSE)service respectively.With rapid development of smart substation technology,the present application situation of relay protection equipment has changeed greatly,in order to adapt to the higher performance requirement of smart substation relay protection,it need to change the original test method of relay protection equipment and detection means urgently.This paper summarized the connotation and characteristics of smart substation,analyzed the smart substation network structure and smart equipment performance requirements.Through the analysis of present research situation between domestic and overseas,it is concluded that the construction of smart substation dynamic simulation test platform is necessary.Upgrade dynamic simulation method is put forward based on existing dynamic laboratory system,and the construction scheme of smart substation relay protection dynamic simulation test platform is made.After completion of the test platform,the tests for key smart device unit of the platform,and platform overall performance is done,at the same time,smart substation relay protection testing technology is studied in-depth,and the test plan is proposed.Finally,the test platform and test technology has been successfully applied to the State grid relay protection professional testing,creating a good economic benefit.Smart substation relay protection dynamic simulation test platform provides test environment and test method for secondary integration equipment in smart substation,improving the performance of secondary equipment,and providing important technical support to ensure safety and reliablely operation of the smart substation.
