Space imager is a product which composed of the reasonable design of multi-discipline and the coordination by multi-sector,not only its structure is relatively complex,involving many disciplines and many departments or external companies,but also its devolopment is a single piece.In the process of its development,there are many mutually restrictions in these disciplines,and a large amount of information transmission or feedback between the departments and companies,the length of its development period,the performance and the cost of development are the key factors determining the development success or failure of the space imager.Less development funding,tight time,heavy task are the status quo of space imager development,due to more focus on product performance and neglect management in the course of the development of space imager,and can't take into account on these problems from the perspective of the product whole life-cycle,thus,it not only increases the development cost of products,but also causes serious tardiness of projects.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the product life-cycle management research in the development process of the space imager,which not only has practical guiding significance,but also has theoretical value,and yet,which can provide reference for the development of similar or related space remote sensing instruments.Based on this,this paper takes a development process of the space imager as the research object,aims at the inadequate management of CGS company,which exists in the process of the project development,finds out the specific factors that restrict itsdevelopment cycle and development cost,and the key stages and focal points of the whole life-cycle management are obtained(hereinafter referred to as "PLM").Then,according to the actual situation of the unit,combining the essence and connotation of the product life-cycle management,the product life-cycle management technology is applied to the development process of the space imager,the design process,technological process,resources and data,and workflow of space imager are effectively managed.Through this study,come to the conclusion that the following several aspects:first,the whole life cycle management in the application cannot be infinite amplification,and around a specific application object,highlight the practicability of the theory;Secondly,it is necessary to define the inherent requirements of project management.On this basis,it can be refined and broken down into data management requirements,process management requirements and performance management.Again,make full use of process management platform based on PLM and data storage layer,core layer and application layer of three layer structure,realize the product in the process of the development of collaborative management,data management,workflow management and performance management is the whole life cycle management in the project of the specific application performance;Finally,use the management function of PLM system,establish a complete and scientific evaluation system and to observe the application of whole life cycle management breadth and depth,is conducive to develop its scientific nature and effectiveness in the project management.
