As an energy conversion device,power transformer is one of the most critical equipments in power system.Failure of power transformer can cause the supply of power to break down and even cause a series of safety accidents such as fire,which can cause great loss to social life and economic development.Therefore,it is very important to strengthen the failure analysis of the transformer.When the transformer internal fault occurs in the power plants or latent overheating,produce gas rate will be affected,extraction of dissolved gas in oil and testing,the test results can be used as an effective method to determine equipment failure.In recent years,many scholars have realized early fault diagnosis by using dissolved gas analysis technique in transformer oil.Partial discharge method is adopted,which has high sensitivity,but can’t detect the defects in the equipment in time.In order to reduce the accident rate,it is necessary to apply the new on-line oil chromatography technology to actual production.At home and abroad in this paper based on the study of the existing oil chromatographic monitoring system,first introduced the basic theory of oil chromatographic monitoring,analyses the working principle of the transformer oil chromatography online monitoring,structure and principle of oil and gas separation plant,breathable membrane technology and the principle and method of fault diagnosis.Secondly on the basis of these principles,completed the main transformer oil chromatography online monitoring system framework and function is discussed,and the installation of MGA2000-6 e online monitoring system software and hardware of the oil chromatogram analysis.In addition,the installation situation,monitoring function and monitoring interface of the operation site of the system are briefly introduced,and the main functions and technical characteristics of the system are explained.In tangshan main substation,baoding main substation site applications offline and online data acquisition,the gas separation unit performance,oil from the oil gas detection unit performance in the two aspects,based on MGA2000-6 e on-line monitoring system performance to the corresponding oil chromatogram analysis,get offline measurement and conclusion,the effect of the online measuring less effective than discrete data were analyzed with online data is the cause of the difference.Will online monitoring technology is applied to the operation of the transformer oil chromatogram,can meet the engineering requirements,can accurately find out the abnormal oil chromatographic data,the conventional monitoring method has more advantages,through the study of the processing and analysis of oil chromatographic data,achieved the purpose of the main transformer condition maintenance.
