The Research On Living Street Design Based On Landscape Aesthetics

The prosperity of the city cannot be separated from the vitality of the street.Commercial streets become prosperous day after day,while living streets are getting worse as urban public space which people daily contact most frequently.As a result,simplification and homogeneity appeared and street life has faded.Besides,the indifference of living streets makes people farther away.Focused on these phenomena and combined with aesthetic perception,this paper researches on rethinking and redesigning living street,thinking how to make living street get rid of indifference and close to people.This paper is divided into three parts.In the first part,the evolution of living street is explained and existing problems and challenges are analyzed.In the second part,based on the foreign and domestic correlation theories and cases,and taking landscape aesthetics as a new entry point to explore resolutions.It elaborates on core implication,the artistic conception,the overall characteristics of artistic conception,and design strategies of aesthetic idea.At last,the above theoretical research results are applied to an actual case.Taking Zengcuoan north 2rd street as an example for analysis and redesign,this paper explores a viable path to design our living street that meets aesthetic enjoyment and affinity,offering different options for the construction and renovation of more living streets in the future.
