Study On The Spontaneous Construction Of Contemporary Rural Residences Under External Regulation

In Western Chongqing,contemporary rural living environment is shaped by 30 years of housing construction.it is the acceleration stage in the 1990 s of urbanization process,rural housing construction increased sharply,and the spontaneous construction presented new characteristics.During this period,government's attention about rural construction never stopped,and there had been a variety of management and control methods used to regulate rural house construction.But the management and control methods under hierarchical governance was different from rural spontaneous gradual approach,which made the implementation of regulation failure.This paper focuses on the spontaneous rural housing construction under the external regulation of the government in the 1990 s.The first chapter defined the studying contents and divide scope of the selected areas under the differences in the rural area of Chongqing.Research methods were confirmed by reviewed the research and practice both in domestic and foreign academia of spontaneous construction about rural housing.The second chapter described the social change of rural residences renewal in the 1990 s,as well as the emerge of the regulation and the new characteristics of rural spontaneous construction.The external regulation emphasizes the technical constraints on rural planning and construction,and promotes the systematic demonstration about planning and architectural atlas.Under the hierarchical division,The external regulation's effect is timeliness.From the perspective of spontaneous construction,we should paying attention to the process of construction,and the process from individual to group.Spontaneous construction's effect has weakened recently,but still persistent.Under the background of rural social development,The third chapter took the case of Gaofeng in the Shallow colliculus geomorphology zone of western Chongqing as an example,to investigate and analyze the external regulation and residential spontaneous construction from three levels: land-use planning,construction management,architectural space.Then summarizes: 1)Accused of neglecting spontaneity,the regulation to spontaneous construction waspassive norms;2)The lack of rural group participation caused neglect of rural construction mode;3)Planning and architectural atla's isolation from rural reality which limits its application.The fourth chapter analyzes the ability of the spontaneous construction in the building space level which is not permeable by the outside regulation.Rural residential building have ability to cope with the change of external environment at different spatial levels.1)Under the characteristics of rural residential space structure,there are different influencing factors' level to the spontaneous construction.The external regulation is only the correction factor,not the determinant,it's the original cause of "failure".2)By the way of bottom-up,the spontaneously built house has formed the dynamic process,from the change of function,to form space,and to the dynamic change of the building distribution.The spontaneous construction of rural housing has dynamic changes in the level of building space.The fifth chapter seeks complementary relationship between external regulation and rural housing spontaneous construction.Investigation and analysis reveals the passive development of external regulation and the failure to implement it.Through a large number of individual samples,contemporary rural housing means micro initiative and blind expansion.1)The adaptability of the building space should be admitted,however,the rural residential space expansion and developement is inefficient and slow;2)To build the connection between the external regulation and the spontaneous construction,to better realize the complementarity;3)In the perspective of external regulation,take Gaofeng as an example.We should set up an intermediary platform to balance the demands of villagers in spontaneous construction and guide villagers to coordinate their needs with external regulation.The basic conclusion:as an important construction means of rural residence in our country,the contemporary spontaneous construction is playing an irreplaceable role in the individual spontaneity and form richness.But at the group level,the spontaneous construction is limited in human settlement and in technical application.On the basis of the previous research and analysis,through the establishment of rural residential construction planning,ensuring the participation of villagers' organizations and strengthening the adaptability of work mode in the countryside,will forming the improvement of external regulation,guarantee the spontaneous group constraints,promote external control and spontaneous construction to achieve better technical docking.
