Aerospace infrastructures are the specific places for R & D and testing of the projects,the realization of their function must be guided by the rigorous design so the process and the environment can be strictly controlled.With the vigorous development of China's aerospace industry and the foreseeable market competition,aerospace design company must improve the design efficiency and competitiveness while maintaining the design quality.In the current extensive progress management system,the low information transmission and communication efficiency due to the unreasonable process arrangements result in a large number of design changes and rework,greatly reducing the design efficiency.Therefore,a feasible and scientific process planning method is needed to manage the design work,to reduce the duplication of the design process,to increase the effective design time and improve the overall design efficiency.In the design of aerospace construction projects,the majors in the pipe network system are relatively after the other majors,the design time is limited under the humorous tasks,restricting the entire design progress.The main task of this paper is to study and optimize the design process in the aerospace construction projects,to reduce the iterative rework,improve the design efficiency and shorten the design period.Design Structure Matrix(DSM),which represents the relationships between each step in the process,can clearly describe the flow of information between all steps and clearly indicate the possible iterations.The order of each step in the process can be adjusted,the iterations can be reduced and the design progress can be improved by optimizing the matrix.DSM theory is by far the key design process theory.In this paper,the DSM theory is applied and the ADePT method is used through Project DSM professional software to establish the optimization model of the pipe network design process in the space construction projects.Firstly,the pipe network design contents are summarized according to the practical data,the design steps are successively decomposed by the IDEF0 v technology,the design information flow is summarized,the interaction and the dependency strength between the information are defined and quantified and the design link between the relationships are obtained to build the DSM matrix.The matrix is then optimized by the Project DSM professional software and adjusted according to the practical experience.The optimized scheme of the pipe network design process is finally obtained.The optimization process can shorten the time difference between the information demand and information acquisition and improve the communication and cooperation between the designers and the design efficiency.Finally,the current organizational structure and process management model are analyzed from the perspective of design practice,the problems and resistance of the process optimization model in practical application are pointed out,and the model can be flexibly applied to guide the actual work.
