The automatic voltage control(AVC)system is an effective way to control generator reactive power and power grid voltage.The voltage stability of the whole power grid could greatly improved.The safety,stability,quality and economic operation of the power grid could ensured.The#13 and#14(2 x 1000 MW)generator units and the connected 500 kV booster station busbar are taken as the research and modification objects.The modification scheme of the automatic voltage control(AVC)system are studied,designedand implemented.The main completed work is as follows:1)The basic principle and control strategy of the automatic voltage control in the power plant,as well as the calculation and distribution method of the reactive power in the power plant are discussed.The key technology of the AVC sub station system in the power plant is expounded.The current situation of reactive power and voltage control in the Jianbi Power Plant is analyzed.The control requirements of the AVC system in the Jianbi Power Plant are determined.2)The design requirements and schemes of the AVC system in the Jianbi Power Plant are put forward.The main technical details are designed.The AVC reactive power allocation strategy in the Jianbi Power Plant is proposed.The total reactive power in the whole plant and the allocation of reactive power under different strategies are calculated.3)Engineering implementation of the AVC system in the Jianbi Power Plant is realized.The main control process and logic function of upper and lower computers are set up.The AVC operation rules in the Jianbi Power Plant are developed.4)The debugging and operation of the AVC system in the Jianbi Power Plant is completed.The static test is performed to check on-site equipment for completeness and the logic of the interface between the devices for correctness.The open-loop dynamic test is performed to determine AVC system configuration and basic parameters.The closed-loop dynamic test is performed to determine the basic parameters of the AVC output control.The sub-station joint debugging test is performed to verify that the AVC sub-station has the ability of reactive power coordination between different units according to different reactive power control strategies,and to check the distribution of reactive target and control process.The relevant data and running pictures under the actual running status are collected.The test and operation results verify the effectiveness of the design plan.
