Study On The Protection And Renewal Of Zhuganxiang Historic Conservation Area In Jining

At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty,the Grand Canal flowed through Shandong after it was cut off and straight,marking the full navigation of the Grand Canal between Beijing and Hangzhou.During the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,water transport based on the Grand Canal became the economic lifeline of the country,which greatly promoted the social,economic and cultural development of the areas along the canal,and profoundly affected the development pattern of the surrounding settlements.At the end of the Qing Dynasty,the Grand Canal's waterway transportation declined,leaving rich canal cultural heritage in the coastal areas.These heritage forms are diverse,among which the historical blocks and sections along the coast are the extension of the Canal Heritage which is of great cultural value.However,since modern times,the protection and development of these historic areas have been neglected for a long time.This paper chooses the Zhuganxiang historic conservation area of Jining,Shandong Province as the research object,adopts multi-dimensional analysis and research methods,and evaluates the current situation of the Bamboo Roadway historic conservation area of Bamboo Roadway based on the existing theories and cases of protection and renewal at home and abroad,puts forward the methods to solve the problems of protection and development of the blocks,and obtains the corresponding strategies of protection and renewal.Firstly,this paper demonstrates the influence of the Grand Canal on the development of coastal cities and blocks,carries out a series of analysis on the protection and renewal cases of historic conservation areas along the Grand Canal,combs out the protection status of the unique canal landscape of the Bamboo Roadway on this basis,and then studies the important role of the Grand Canal in the formation and development of Jining city,excavates in accordance with the spatial order from large to small.Secondly,this paper summarizes the status of the historic conservation area of Bamboo Roadway,and puts forward the existing problems of the blocks.Finally,this paper puts forward the strategies for the protection and renewal of the historic conservation area of Bamboo Roadway.By studying the examples of the Bamboo Roadway historic conservation area,this paper aims at solving the problems of protection and renewal,and puts forward a series of strategies for the sustainable development of historic conservation areas,which can also provide a new way of thinking for the protection and renewal of historic conservation areas along the Grand Canal.
