The Identification Of Critical Success Factors Of International Engineering Project From The Perspective Of General Contractor

With the further deepening of China's "Going out" strategy,China's international engineering contracting industry has entered a period of rapid growth in recent years.However,compared with the world's top contractors,China's enterprises have appeared inadequate management and low efficiency.In this case,identify the critical success factors of international projects contracting,and a clear understanding of the relationship between project performance and success factors,can guide managers to allocate resources effectively,at the same time will improve the management level,maximize benefits,this will also play a role in promoting our country's foreign contracted engineering industry.In the study based on the results of previous studies,dimensions of participants' characteristics,dimensions of project characteristics and environmental dimensions are taken as three dimensions.Combined with literature review,the project performance evaluation index is summarized into 2 dimensions: management success dimension and product success dimension,while dividing a series of more detailed observation items.Finally,a preliminary assumption of the relationship between project success factors and project performance evaluation indicators is made.Next,the questionnaire was used to obtain the data,and the data were processed by SPSS software,in order to evaluate the performance of the factors,that will be summed up as Control indicators,efficiency indicators and satisfaction of owners and other stakeholders three indicators.About the factors affecting the success of the project,through factor analysis,finally obtains the 5 factors,this dissertation named: the project itself and the characteristics of the environment,owners of the hard and soft power and support,the general contractor of the hard and soft power and the other parties involved in the hard and soft power and the relationship between the participating parties.Effective analysis of these elements,combine the most important factors with the performance evaluation factors.This dissertation will deduce and explain this model,and put forward some suggestions on how to improve the efficiency of international engineering projects from the perspective of general contractor.
