Research On Satisfaction Evaluation And Design Optimization Strategy Of Urban Leisure Plaza Based On POE

As an important part of urban spaces,urban plaza plays an important role in promoting urban development,improving urban functions,displaying urban image and supporting citizens' public life.With the acceleration of urbanization process and the improvement of people's living standards in China,the public demands for high quality of urban public spaces such as squares,parks,and green spaces are increasing.In recent years,there are some poor tendencies in the design of urban square in China to pursue the effect of forms and visual feelings,which ignore the user's behavior habits and use needs.Therefore,the actual use of the squares is inconsistent with the original intention of the design,resulting in the poor use of built squares,urban public space idle and other issues.In the view of above problems,this paper takes some representative urban leisure squares in Hefei as the research objects,and uses post-occupancy evaluation(POE)as the main research method to investigate the relationship between the square design and the actual feelings of the citizens in the built environment of the square.It reveals the different importance of the main factors affecting the satisfaction of the use of the square,in order to play a valuable guiding role in the planning,design and evaluation of the future urban squares and other public spaces in China.Firstly,this paper studies the related theories of urban squares and POE in China and abroad.It mainly involves the development of plazas,the design methods of plazas and the significance of the development of POE theory in China.On the basis of collating and summarizing previous studies,a POE evaluation model was established based on physical,social and psychological perception.Secondly,this paper selects four representative urban leisure squares in Hefei City,including City Hall Square,Mingzhu Square,Peace Square and Heichiba Square as the specific research objects,and carries out the characteristics of its environments,location,traffic and spatial form.The data of the square is collected in their accessibility,usage status,and satisfaction through questionnaires and field observations.At the same time,Semantic Analysis(SD method)and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP method)are used to analyze and calculate the collected data,and finally obtain the citizen satisfaction scores and importance values of 19 second-level evaluation factors in four squares,and the overall satisfaction score of the four leisure plazas under research.Then,the score is compared with the previous POE evaluation model to obtain the final satisfaction evaluation result,and the main problems in the planning and material space level of Hefei City Leisure Square are analyzed.Finally,according to the results of satisfaction survey and the main problems of square in design,construction,and use,the author put forward specific optimization and improvement measures in aspects of planning,space,environment,facilities and maintenance management from macro,meso and micro levels of Hefei City Leisure Plaza.
