With the introduction of the concept of urban-rural integration and its rapid development with respect to bus, public transportation service is gradually extending to mountainous areas. The emergence of public transportation has effectively improved the travel environment of people in mountainous areas and solved the problem of travel difficulties in the past. However, due to large differences in demands of public transportation and characteristics of roads between cities and mountainous areas, the development of public transportation in mountainous areas is not very optimistic, and there are still cases where the construction results do not match people's needs. Therefore, the public transportation system in mountainous areas should be analyzed thoroughly to find the key factors and problems affecting the development level of it.Only by identifying people's demands can we get the expected result. In such a case, this paper designs a conventional evaluation method for bus service that adapts to characteristics of the traffic in mountainous areas.According to the evaluation method,it scientifically judges the development level of bus in mountainous areas and provides reference for the improvement of service quality. This thesis takes the conventional bus in mountainous area as the research object, constructs the evaluation index system of mountain bus service level, designs the weighting method based on passenger's perception and expectation, which also combines the comprehensive evaluation method to verify the case.Firstly, from the aspect of service level evaluation, the related researches at home and abroad are reviewed.Based on summarizing the existing research results, the research content and research ideas of my thesis are put forward.Secondly, based on the analysis of the characteristics of public transportation system in mountainous area, the classification of bus routes and bus trips in mountainous area is carried out.Combined with the actual survey, the characteristics of bus trips from mountainous areas to urban areas are summarized from three aspects:residents' travel characteristics, road traffic characteristics and environmental characteristics. Then, based on the analysis of the factors affecting public transportation in mountainous areas,an evaluation index system consisting of 22 indicators including infrastructure configuration, operational service level, mountainous areas' special indicators and passengers' subjective feelings is constructed. Then, based on the analysis and comparison of various weight assignment methods, combined with the characteristics of mountainous areas,a weighing method based on passengers' perception and expectation is designed. The weight coefficient is determined by this method, and the gray clustering analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation are adopted. The two methods are comprehensively evaluated, and the indicators of construction operation level and passenger subjective feeling are evaluated.Taking the bus in Huairou District of Beijing as an example, the above evaluation index system and evaluation method were applied to analyze this example and the results show that the regular bus service level in Huairou District is high. Finally, the conclusion and shortcomings of the research are summarized. This thesis deeply investigates and analyzes the characteristics of mountainous public transportation, and proposes four key influencing factors reflecting the characteristics of mountainous areas. At the same time,it combines the infrastructure allocation, operational service level and passengers' subjective feelings related factors to construct an evaluation index system that can comprehensively reflect the level of mountain bus service. The perception-expectation weight assignment method combines the objective importance of factors influencing the service level and the passenger experience difference of each factor, avoiding the subjective influence of the expert scoring method.
