Research On The Device Of Automatic Calibration For Milligram Weights

With the continuous development of automation technology,automation measurement is the future trend of development.In recent years,main foreign manufacturers have been committed to working on the automatic calibration robot for milligram,gram and kilogram weights in order to improve the efficiency and the accuracy of calibration.Our country set up "JJG 99-2006" Verification Regulation of weights,which is distinguished from the past Verification Regulation and the International recommendation R111.However,due to the differences between the domestic and foreign measurement methods,the foreign advanced robot technology is not fully adapted to our country in the field of mass measurement.In order to meet the requirements of the domestic Verification Regulation,this paper developed the automation weight loading system for milligram weights,which is the first attempt in the field of automation calibration for milligram weights in our country.The design of weight plates,the multilayer pan for the mass comparator and multilayer manipulator,can load and unload the combined weights.Using RS232 communication technology realized the automation of the whole system run through the PC control.The device can switch the windscreen of the mass comparator automatically,control manipulator to load and unload the combined weights,collect data automatically,get original records and so on.The results of the experiments suggest that the device meet the requirements of verification for combined weights.The author has applied for two national patents that named "the combination of the multilayer pan and weight plates""a verification method for weights".
