Study On The Design Of Arcade Street In Contemporary Residential Area Of Xiamen Arcade

In tropical and subtropical climates,the applicability of the form of the building to the climate is still of great significance.The arcade street provides residents with a public walking space for shelter from the rain.It is combined with community business.Its comfortable walking space provides residents with more staying.The building is an important living place and regional building for residents.It has a “human touch”.It is also a continuation of Xiamen's urban context.However,the contemporary urban arcades cannot completely copy the traditional form of the building.We need to further explore the connotation of the building and create new and diverse architectural forms.The Xiamen contemporary building is lacking in the expansion of the building.Through field visits and surveys,this paper feels the use of the street in the contemporary Xiamen residential area,as well as the information on the shape,scale and composite use of the modern Xiamen residential area.From this,the typical arcade building is extracted for further study in the future.Suggestions on the application and development of contemporary settlements,and put forward corresponding humanized design strategies for the street.The research content is mainly divided into three parts.In the background research section,on the one hand,it explains the generation and development of the arcade and the overall overview of the Xiamen arcade street;on the other hand,it sorts out the modern significance of the arcade street.The main research part mainly explores the design strategy of contemporary arcade street from three aspects: arc plan layout,street scale and colonnade space.In terms of planning and layout,through the combing of the relevant policies of the riding building,the street,street form and street positioning in the area of residence and outside are explained.Through the classification of contemporary arcade streets,we will further understand the characteristics of Xiamen's contemporary arcades.In the research of corridor space,firstly,the actual construction of the scale of the arcade corridor was investigated,and compared with the traditional scale of the arcade,the scale of the arcade corridor was obviously increased,and the space used was rich in form.And the combination of three aspects of commercial expansion and other aspects.Finally,from the three aspects of the overall layout of the arcade street,the corridor space and the land method,the corresponding design strategy is proposed for the current residential area.In the planning of the street layout of the arcade,a regional arcade block is created,a variety of arcade street shapes and appropriate street scales are created.The corridor space is designed to meet the requirements of safety,comfort,accessibility,diversity and belonging.Strengthen the city guidelines for the construction of the Xiamen residential area and refine the relevant regulations.I hope to have a certain guiding role in the construction of the street.
