The automation technology in the cockpit of modern aircraft has been widely used,which reduces the workload of pilots and improves flight efficiency.The role of pilots has gradually changed from manual control to supervisory control,which puts higher demands on their quality and ability,and is easy to generate new human errors,which may lead to catastrophic consequences.Therefore,further research on pilot errors in an automated environment is needed.Based on the information processing model and the concept of situational awareness,the pilot mental model is constructed,and the cognitive process of the pilot is described in detail.Based on the triadic-semiotic model and the systematic theoretical process analysis(STPA)method,the pilot and aircraft interaction model in the automation environment is established.The interaction between the pilot and the aircraft in an automated environment is studied.Flight accidents related with automation in recent years is studied.Based on the SHEL model,the influence factors of human error related with automation are identified and screened through the questionnaire survey.The main influencing factors are determined and specifically analysed.Expert judgment method is used to score the influencing factors.Based on analytic hierarchy process,the weight of the influencing factors is determined,in which the importance degree of pilot's loss of situation awareness is highest.In view of the main influencing factors,advice for the pilot,aircraft operators and aircraft designers is provided.With reference to HFACS and human error classification method based on information processing path,based on the established interaction model,human error in the automation environment is identified,including perceptual error,understanding error,decision error,expectation error,compound error and execution errors.The score quantifies the probability of human errorFrom the aspects of definition,classification and mechanism,the typical automation-related composite human error is analyzed—automatic surprise,the influence factors of automation surprise are identified,and the probability of the automation is calculated.
