Research On Scheduling Risk Management Of B38K Type Ship Building Project

With the development of domestic shipbuilding industry and severe of competition between the international ship building enterprises,the ship building management mode has been gradually changed.Ship building project became more efficient by applying the project management principles.Schedule management is one of the most important targets among with all the management targets.Effective and successful project schedule management is not only to ensure the enterprise economic profit but also ensure the ship can be delivered successfully.Because of the ship building project has characteristic of the vast investment,complex building process,longevity of building period,and continuously exposed in dynamic environment.Consequently,the project facing many kinds of risk factors which affecting of the building schedule in different manners.Therefore,researching of the ship building project schedule risk management is very important.Firstly,this thesis takes an overview research and analyze about the domestic and international ship building project schedule risk management principles,in view of the actual situation of domestic ship building enterprise,describe the basic process and characteristic of ship building,briefly introduced the general condition of A shipyard and progress of ongoing project,specially analyze and summarize the characteristic and management procedure of schedule risk management for B38 K project which established the background for the following research.Secondly,in view of current situation of shipping market,based on the following up research of B38 K serial vessels of A shipyard,identified the important ship building schedule risk factors by using of the work breakdown structure(WBS)and risk breakdown structure(RBS).Carried out the interview with A shipyard project management staff by questions paper and analyze the occurrence possibility of the risk factor in the actual production process.Based on the interview result,evaluated the ship building project schedule risk factor by using the Bayesian network diagrams.Eventually,identify the vital risk factors affecting period and internal relations in the building process of B38 K project schedule risk management.In the end,based on the above principle research and risk factors evaluation,taking in account the actual situation of A shipyard and current B38 K project condition,considering all the import schedule risk factors and occurrence possibilities,optimize the schedule risk management procedures and set up the safeguard measures.This thesis is taking the B38K ship building project of A shipyard as a researching object,on the basis of analyzing the existing problems of ship building schedule risk management,further identified the vital risk factors and set up the remedy proposal and safeguard measures which are very much practicability and operability.The research is also providing to the domestic ship building industry with some of reference.
