With the implementation of our country's strategy of "one belt,one road" and the advent of economic globalization,the construction industry is facing great opportunities as well as great challenges.In the increasingly perfect market environment,enterprises must improve their cost control level in order to survive and develop in the fierce competition.In China,with rapid economic development,infrastructure construction is still the core to promote economic development.At present,China's construction industry still uses the traditional cost methods and management methods,and there are still many problems including unreasonable cost distribution,inaccurate cost accounting and so on,which lead to the construction industry facing the pressure of increasing construction costs and reducing profit space.At the same time,with the improvement of construction mechanization,the traditional cost method can not meet the needs of management level.Therefore,modern municipal engineering and engineering projects need a more advanced project cost control management method.Combined with the problems in the cost control of construction projects,this paper incorporate the earned value method into the cost control of construction projects.First of all,this paper reviews the development of cost control methods for their domestic and foreign situation,including the development process of earned value method and the existing practical application results,expounds the characteristics of earned value method and other cost control methods,and introduces the principle and implementation process of earned value method.Secondly,according to the current situation of cost control and schedule control of X construction project,this paper analyzes the problems of S company in cost control of X construction project,such as the relationship between cost and schedule,the backward cost control method and the lack of cost prediction concept.In view of these problems,the earned value method is applied to the overall scheme of cost control of the construction project,aiming at the above defects,put forward the relevant countermeasures.The earned value method is used to analyze the cost of the project,so as to realize the comprehensive dynamic control of the project cost schedule and achieve the purpose of optimizing the cost control.Finally,the paper discusses the expected effect of the implementation of the earned value method and the safeguard measures,and further explains that the earned value method is an effective cost control method and provides guarantee for the effective implementation of the X construction project.
