In recent years,with the continuous development of China’s economy and tourism,RV travel has gradually become the choice of many tourists.RVs are a means of transport for food and shelter for the contemporary people,which better solves the problem of restricted location in travel.Therefore,the safety performance of the RV began to receive attention.China’s motorhomes are mainly imported from Europe and the United States,and the price is higher.In recent years,the country has begun to support the RV camping.The trailer-type RV has gradually entered the people’s field of vision.The domestic trailer-type RV industry has ushered in a new development period.More researchers have done a lot of research on the structural design and market demand of RVs,but there are few studies on the strength and collision of RVs.Based on this problem,this Paper will analyze the strength and crash simulation of a type of towed RV.Its safety and rationality.Firstly,the geometric model of the RV is established,and the complex components of the geometric model are simplified without affecting the main structure of the RV.Secondly,the finite element model of the RV is established by Hypermesh,and the items such as TV sets and refrigerators inside the RV are simplified as the quality points of the finite element model,which is prePared for the later calculation and analysis.Then,the constraints and loads are defined for the five working conditions,such as bending conditions,torsion conditions,braking conditions,turning conditions and temporary loading conditions,which are common during the driving of the RV.The displacement of the RV is calculated by introducing ANSYS.The cloud map and the stress cloud map,the analysis found that the maximum stress value is lower than the allowable stress value of the material,and the difference is large,so the RV design has a large safety sPace in terms of static strength;then the mode of the RV in the free state The state is calculated and analyzed,and its low-order natural frequency(25~50Hz)is higher than the vibration frequency caused by road roughness(generally 6~20Hz),so the external load will not resonate with the vehicle.Finally,LS-DYNA is used to simulate and calculate the side collision of the RV.Firstly,the control card(speed,energy control,hourglass control,time step)is defined for the overall finite element model of the side collision,and then imported into LS-DYNA for calculation and analysis.The output results(mass change,displacement change,speed change,acceleration change)are evaluated.The analysis results show that the RV meets the relevant regulations of side collision. |
