Cost control is a very important issue for every enterprise.Good cost control can squeeze more profit margins for enterprises,and the importance of improving the competitiveness of enterprises is self-evident.After a round of concentrated investment in infrastructure construction in previous years,the construction industry has experienced rapid growth,and the entire construction market has poured into a large number of enterprises that want to share a piece of cake.Nowadays,with the gradual standardization of the construction industry market and the government's regulation of infrastructure investment,the construction market is entering an adjustment period.There are many competitors participating in the limited market resources,and the competition is becoming increasingly hot.How to improve the construction cost control ability,enhance the company's profitability,strengthen the company's ability to withstand pressure,and survive and grow in this round of market adjustment has become a realistic problem that every construction company needs to solve.The construction project integrates various sub-projects such as infrastructure,decoration,water and electricity,and the construction process is complicated.At the same time,the construction needs to efficiently organize various materials,machinery and personnel to enter and transfer in a limited space.Objectively,The limited time schedule of the project has a high flexibility,so the implementation of cost control of construction projects is a complex and systematic project.In view of these characteristics of cost control of construction projects,this paper combines the problems existing in the cost control of construction projects in China Railway X Bureau,and studies the introduction of earned value method into the cost management of construction projects.Firstly,the paper reviews the development history of cost control methods,including the development process of earned value method and existing practical application results,compares the characteristics of earned value method and other cost control methods,and introduces the principle and implementation process of earned value method..Secondly,this paper takes the current situation of Y construction project cost control as an example,and analyzes the problems that the China Railway X Bureau has unscientific control methods,unreasonable organizational structure,imperfect management system and unclear division of responsibility in the cost control of construction projects.The problem design earned value method is applied to the overall plan of the cost management of the China Railway X Bureau Y construction project,including the principles to be introduced,the division of responsibilities,the reconstruction of the department,and the establishment of a dynamic control system.The earned value method carries out cost analysis on the Y construction project of China Railway X Bureau,in order to realize the comprehensive dynamic control of project cost/schedule,so that it can achieve the purpose of optimizing cost control.Finally,the article discusses the expected effects and safeguards of the implementation of the earned value method,and provides a basis for the effective implementation of the construction project of the China Railway X Bureau as a powerful cost control method.
