China has a large number of existing residential buildings and high energy consumption.Analyzing the characteristics of existing buildings and studying targeted energy-saving transformation strategies will undoubtedly be of great significance to China's scientific development concept and building energy-saving work.Various regions across the country have also issued corresponding energy-saving codes and energy-saving measures, which involve all aspects of building design and are gradually being improved.Exterior windows are an important part of the building envelope and a key part of energy loss.At present, there are many domestic researches on the energy-saving renovation of existing residential buildings, but the content related to the energy-saving renovation of exterior windows is short and not well targeted. In many domestic studies on the thermal performance of exterior windows, the heat transfer coefficient K and the shading coefficient SC have been used as two important parameters to study the thermal performance of exterior windows. In this paper, the thermal parameter SHGC,which is more in line with international standards and more helpful than the shading coefficient SC to help intuitively evaluate the solar heat entering the room,is used to replace the shading coefficient for in-depth analysis. In order to systematically study the energy saving problem of exterior windows, this paper first introduces the global energy situation and the current status of existing residential buildings in China, and summarizes the development status of energy conservation in buildings at home and abroad and the requirements of existing relevant energy-saving design standards for exterior windows.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of poor thermal performance of external windows in Qingdao area, the main factors affecting the energy saving of windows were analyzed: the heat transfer coefficient of windows, the coefficient of solar heat gain, the ratio of window to wall area and air tightness.Thirdly, the external windows of existing residential buildings in Qingdao area are investigated and analyzed, and typical residential building planes are selected for simulation research.According to the relevant energy saving standards, determine the relevant calculation parameters of the model. Finally, the Grasshopper is used to build the building model, and the Ladybug + Honeybee software is used for visualization and energy consumption simulation, which provides a reference basis for summarizing the changes in cooling and heating energy consumption in each transformation plan.Based on the relationship between the heat transfer coefficient value and solar heat gain coefficient value and building energy consumption, this paper proposes a strategy to choose energy-saving exterior windows for existing residential buildings with different window-to-wall ratios and different thermal performance envelopes. In addition,by analyzing the correlation between the thermal parameters of the exterior windows and the energy saving rate after reformation, the window reform strategy is combed in a standardized way,and the energy efficiency reform strategy for windows in the Qingdao area is put forward.
