In recent years,most of decoration companies have had some problems such as waste of resources and non-standard use of workers in the actual construction process,which has caused overruns in project costs and substandard quality in China.There is no reasonable and efficient cost control method that seriously hinders the development of the building decoration industry.Therefore,the introduction of advanced construction project management experience plays an important role in project cost control.Under the premise of ensuring the three goals of quality,schedule and cost of construction projects,the cost of the project will be reduced as much as possible to achieve the goal of maximizing corporate profits.This essay conducted in-depth research and analysis on the current status of project cost control of A decoration company through literature research method and field research method.Through comprehensive analysis,we found many problems,such as the company currently has extensive management of construction project in the cost control of decoration project,the main reason is that the construction management method is backward.Many other issues are summarized mainly in the backwardness of the construction management method.The method is still in the traditional method of cost control,which makes the project cost control and schedule control separate and disconnected,resulting in the actual settlement cost of the project far exceeding the project's budget,project losses.With the downward trend of the economic environment,the environment of the construction industry has also put forward higher requirements for construction technology management.The continuation of the old extensive old construction project management experience is no longer in line with the development of modern society,so the contradictions are also increasing.The more prominent,not paying attention to the cost control of engineering projects is not conducive to the improvement of corporate profitability,and the enterprise cannot develop better and faster.A detailed study and analysis of the cost control of the decoration project was carried out through a lot of reading,combined with the actual investigation and interview of the decoration enterprises,based on the actual situation of the cost control of the engineering projects of company A and the decoration industry.At this stage,the existing problems in the decoration project,and on this basis,the key path earned value method is introduced to manage and control the project.This essay takes the M project as an example,by drawing the engineering network plan,calculating the earned value parameters of each stage,timely discovering the progress and cost deviations in the actual construction process of the project,and analyzing the deviation indexes that occur to find out the actual problems.Dealing with and solving problems in time,and finding effective improvement measures are of great significance for reducing the total actual cost of the project.Through introducing the analysis of the critical path earned value method,it is demonstrated that the method can exactly solve the management model in which cost control and schedule control are separated from the twolines,realize the combination of two control factors,achieve effective cost savings,and increase profits.This method effectively proves that it is a set of practical and feasible engineering project management methods for decoration enterprises through the dynamic control of the whole process.
