Nowadays,with the expansion of higher education,how to improve the teaching quality has become a difficult problem in colleges and universities.Meanwhile,in the process of promoting “the Belt and Road Initiative”,the maritime industry needs more talents with higher comprehensive quality.Therefore,the teaching quality of marine engineering major in SD Jiaotong University,which is a special training institution of shipping personnel,should be improved in order to better serve the shipping cause in the process of social development.Therefore,this thesis designs a teaching quality evaluation plan suitable for the development of marine engineering of SD Jiaotong University by studying the influencing factors of teaching quality evaluation and the professional characteristics of marine engineering major.This thesis analyzes the current situation of teaching quality and teaching quality evaluation of marine engineering major in SD Jiaotong University,and puts forward the problems of teaching quality evaluation in schools,teachers and students,and discusses the influencing factors of teaching quality evaluation according to the problem.Based on the reference of materials and other scholars' research results,combining with the professional characteristics and t eaching practice of marine engineering major,according to the construction principle of teaching quality evaluation scheme,the teaching quality evaluation index is selected to establish a teaching quality evaluation plan suitable for the marine engineeri ng major.Teaching quality evaluation is a complex evaluation process which has multi-factors and multi-targets.Developed a reasonable and scientific index system,it will play an important role on improving the working of evaluation.The indicator system is composed of three dimensions extracted from managers,teachers and students respectively,and 17 specific influencing factor indicators.Fuzziness and difficulty in quantification are the characteristics of most influencing factors,this thesis selects the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model,uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each evaluation factor,conducts an empirical study on the model,and uses the evaluation model to calculate the comprehensive evaluation value.Finally,the evaluation results are analyzed and explained,which show that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is feasible,comprehensive and objective.This thesis adopts the questionnaire survey method to study the teachers and students of the engineering major in the engineering,and analyzes the implementation effect of the teaching quality evaluation program,which provides a reliable basis for the strategic adjustment and planning of the development of the teaching quality management of the marine engineering profession.
