Research On The Improvement Of Public Supporting Facilities In The Old Community Based On "15-minutes Community Life Circle"

Community is the basic component unit of urban structure and the basic spatial unit of residents' daily activities.With the rapid development of urban incremental construction,many existing communities in the old urban areas are facing with the problems such as aging facilities,lack of functions and environmental degradation,etc.,which make it difficult to meet the living needs of residents in the new era.With the gradual transformation of the urban development mode to the stock optimization,the city of Ningbo clearly put forward to vigorously promote the transformation of old residential areas.Based on the above background,this article selects the Zhongma Subdistrict in Ningbo as a case study,taking the 15-minutes community life circle construction as the breakthrough point.This article combines the research methods of Field Research,Questionnaire Investigation,GIS Analytical,and inquires into the old neighborhood residents' behavior characteristics,using requirements and different types of space facilities layout from diverse perspectives.The aim is to find out the main problems existing in the public supporting facilities of the old communities and put forward the corresponding improvement strategies.First of all,with the aid of field research and questionnaire investigation,analyzing from the following aspects of community characteristics,facilities using features,trip characteristics and future demands of different age groups(children and teenagers,young and middle-aged office workers,and the elderly)in case communities from the perspective of behavior characteristics.Based on the above study,discussing the difference of using demands of residents and the inadequacy of the current station of the communities.In order to explore the rationality of public facilities layout of the communities further,using the Network Analysis,Buffer Analysis and Kernel Density Analysis of GIS platform,reviewing the road system,public green space,and supporting facilities spatial distribution quantitatively.Based on the index of life circle,summing up the existing shortages of public facilities planning of the communities at present.Finally,specific optimization objectives are defined basing on the existing problems and residents' demands.At the perspective of stock resources of community,proposing the improvement strategies include functional replacement of idle buildings,composite utilization of existing spaces and sharing social resources at the macro level.At the micro level,the old factories,underground spaces,community green space and other renovation projects are respectively represented to guide the implementation of specific designs.This research provides reference for the sustainable development of old communities in China.
