In recent years,early childhood education has been paid more and more attention.As a special building for kindergarten,kindergarten,the quality of its space environment has become very important.This article takes the external space of the kindergarten as the research object,and through the introduction of social conditions and national policies,expounds the research background,research content,research purpose and significance of the subject.Then,a series of research literature on preschool education related theories,kindergarten design,and the external space environment of the kindergarten are reviewed,and a research framework is proposed.Then researches on children's physiology,psychological development and other aspects,and puts forward the characteristics of the external space environment of the kindergarten needed for children's healthy growth.Afterwards,it comprehensively used research methods such as questionnaire surveys,field investigations,interviews,and behavior observations to classify the external space of the kindergarten into several functional spaces and related elements,systematically investigate the status quo of the external space of the kindergarten,and summarize the deficiencies of the external space.And study in detail the activity status of children in various functional spaces,sum up the actual needs of children in space during activities,and introduce it into the study of the external space of the kindergarten.Finally,combined with the relevant theoretical research summary and the problems found in the kindergarten field survey,six design principles for the external space design of the kindergarten are proposed,which are the overall unity principle,the rational safety principle,the ecological nature principle,the childoriented principle,and the fun attraction principle.,The principle of diversity and richness.Based on this,the specific design method of external space is proposed from the aspects of spatial distribution,shape,interface,internal facilities and so on.I hope that the conclusions can provide some reference and help for later relevant research.
