Research On The Influencing Factors Of Urban Residents' Green Commuting Behavior

With the development of the national economy,urban environmental pollution problems are frequent,and exhaust emissions from motor vehicles in transportation have put a lot of pressure on environmental governance.The 19 th CPC National Congress also made decisions on the deployment of green travel actions.Research on the current status of commuting and its influencing factors is of great significance for promoting green travel.This paper aims to organize the interview data and build a model of influencing factors for urban commuters 'green commuting behavior and design a questionnaire to investigate the current status of green commuting behavior and psychological factors of urban residents based on the theoretical research,qualitative research,empirical test,policy recommendations and conclusions,obtain 231 valid questionnaires and analyze some influencing factors and driving mechanisms.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)optimistic personality tendency has a negative effect on green commuting behavior,environmental control has a positive effect on green commuting behavior,and both optimistic personality tendency and environmental control can affect green commuting behavior through green commuting intentions.(2)Institutional context factors,social reference norms,commuting attributes,and commuting expectations have a moderating effect on the conversion of green commuting intentions to green commuting behaviors.When these factors have a large impact on individuals,they will significantly increase or decrease individuals' implementation of green commuting behaviors.(3)Factors such as education level,work level and different ownership of private car can directly affect the implementation of individual green commuting behaviors.Finally,based on the results of empirical analysis of this paper,from improving the public's awareness of green commuting,improving green commuting policies and public participation systems,increasing infrastructure construction and improving service quality,guiding forming a positive social reference standard and constructing a reasonable and balanced occupational and residential space layout,put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote urban residents' green commuting behavior,and also provided theoretical support for the Chinese government to formulate green travel policies.The paper has 5 pictures,35 tables,and 80 references.
