Evaluation Of The Development Degree Of Interprovincial Agricultural Modernization In China

The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the strategy of Rural Revitalization and accelerated the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The modernization of agriculture is related to the overall situation of building a well-off society in an all-round way and building a strong socialist modernization country.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that without agricultural modernization,rural prosperity and prosperity,and peasants living and working in peace and contentment,national modernization is incomplete,incomplete and unstable.He also emphasized that the fundamental solution to the "three rural" problem lies in deepening reform and taking the road of modernized agriculture with Chinese characteristics.Agriculture is the foundation of national economy.To realize agricultural modernization,we should start from five aspects:agricultural production,agricultural management,rural society,agricultural output and agricultural ecology,and accelerate the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.To objectively evaluate the development degree of agricultural modernization in various regions of China is helpful to grasp the regional development level,shortcomings and key issues of agricultural modernization in China.Referring to the monitoring and evaluation methods of the Ministry of Agriculture on the construction level of national modern agricultural demonstration zones,according to the data and the characteristics of regional agricultural development,a three-level index system containing 23 specific indicators was constructed,and the specific values of 23 specific indicators of each province,municipality and autonomous region in 2015 were collected according to relevant statistical yearbooks and statistical websites.By referring to the methods of agricultural monitoring and evaluation,and comparing the relevant data of foreign developed agricultural countries,the specific values of each index in realizing agricultural modernization basically and in realizing agricultural modernization in an all-round way are given,and then the scores of each specific index are scored by a linear equation.Finally,the total scores and rankings of agricultural modernization degree of the whole country,provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions,as well as the scores and rankings of indicators at all levels were calculated.The study finds that the average level of agricultural modernization in China has not reached the basic level of agricultural modernization.The level of agricultural modernization among provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions is unbalanced.The level of agricultural modernization in the western region is significantly lower than that in the eastern,northeastern and central regions.The level of agricultural modernization in traditional agricultural provinces still needs to be improved.Agricultural modernization is a dynamic process,which changes with the development of the times.Exploring and researching the existing problems in the development of agricultural modernization,putting forward the solutions,and finding out the law of the development of agricultural modernization in China can not only promote the development of current agricultural modernization,but also provide some reference for the future development of agricultural modernization.
