| The purpose of this experiment was to study the growth performance,slaughtering performance and meat quality of the pure and complex combination of Guangyuan grey chicken and its hybrid combinations,and provide data reference support for commercial production of Guangyuan grey chicken.This study collected three combinations of Guangyuan grey chicken♀× the recessive white chicken ♂(WG),Guangyuan grey chicken♀× NO.6 Poultry goose♂(PG)and Guangyuan grey chicken pure numerous group(GG),each combined with 500 eggs,hatching and breeding in Sichuan province in Guangyuan city Tianguan farming Limited Liability Company,and three combinations to be consistent in raising the management level.The growth performance,slaughtering performance and meat quality were measured in 90,120 and 150 days.The results are as follows:(1)Feather color statistics: Grey feather is the highest proportion of the three combinations,followed by black feather and hemp.WG,PG and GG were respectively 38.33%,42.00% and 61.36%,with the highest proportion of grey feather in GG.(2)Reproductive performance: the fertilization rate of the three combinations reached more than 87%,and the incubation rate of fertilized eggs and the rate of healthy chicks reached more than 90%.WG is the earliest age of producing first egg,the weight of producing first egg was the maximum 1882.55 g,which was significantly higher than that of the other two groups.(3)Growth performance: at the age of 1-28,there was no significant difference in the three combinations.The growth rate of WG was significantly higher than that of the other two groups.The difference between PG and GG was not significant.(4)Body scale characters: the body size characters of the three groups gradually increased with the age,and at the age of 150,it was the maximum.Among them,the value of each stage of WG is greater than that of the other two groups.The growth trend of PG and GG was basically the same,there have no significant difference.(5)Slaughtering performance: 90,120,150 days of age WG and PG combined with a slaughter rate of over 80%.At the age of 150,the slaughter rate of GG hens was only 75.57%.In general,each indicator has a WG greater than PG and than GG,and the cocks is larger than the hens.The rate of abdominal fat increased with the age,and the hens was bigger than the cocks.(6)Meat quality: 90,120,150 days age PG and GG combined each age of the water content of 70%-75%.90,120 days age WG’s water content less than 70%;Dry matter content is the opposite of crude water content.The L*、a* and b* value of the muscle were maximal at 90 days,the minimum value was at 150 days,and the cocks were larger than the hens,and the leg muscle were larger than the pectoral muscle.On the whole,the L* of the three groups at the age of 120 is the most moderate,the a* and the b* value are also moderate,showed the meat color is better.With the increase of the daily age,the pH value of the pectoral muscle and leg muscle were both on the rise,and the cocks were larger than the hens,the leg muscle value was greater than the pectoral muscle,and the muscle pH was between 6.0 and 6.5,and the differences between the three combinations were not significant.The pH value decreased with the duration of preservation.With the increase of the age,the fat content of WG and PG combined pectoral muscle and leg muscle decreased gradually,and GG showed an upward trend.In addition,GG was greater than WG and PG,and the cocks were larger than the hens,and the leg muscle value was greater than the pectoral muscle.The contents of crude protein increased with the age,and all three combined pectoral and leg muscle values decreased.The pectoral muscle was larger than the leg muscle,the cocks was bigger than the hens,and GG was greater than WG than PG.The shear force increaseed with the the age,and the leg muscle was greater than the pectoral muscle,and the cocks is bigger than the hens,and WG is greater than PG than GG.The content of inosinic acid increased with the age.At the same age,the hens was larger than the cocks,and the leg muscle was greater than the pectoral muscle,and the PG was greater than WG.The amino acid content also increases with the age,at 150 days,the meat quality of the three combinations is the best.At the same age,the pectoral muscle value is greater than the leg muscle,and the cocks value is greater than the hens.In terms of glutamate content of amino acids and the most flavorful substances,WG was the best.Combining the above results,the PG combination is superior,which is accord with the purpose of this experiment.The growth performance of the guangyuan grey chicken has been improved,and the meat quality of guangyuan grey chicken has been kept. |
