Research On The Application Of Integration Of Theory And Practice Teaching Mode

It is the core work of vocational colleges to cultivate talents with certain theoretical knowledge and strong practical operation ability.However,influenced by the traditional teaching concept,vocational colleges generally pay more attention to theory than practice in the teaching of professional courses,students’ practical ability is insufficient,and the teaching quality is not ideal.The integration of theory and practice teaching mode emphasizes the combination of theory and practice in teaching.In this study,taking the course of landscape plant cultivation and maintenance in Xining vocational and technical school as an example,the current teaching situation of the course was investigated by questionnaire,and the existing problems were analyzed.Then,the application value of the teaching mode of integration of theory and practice in the course of landscape plant professional maintenance is verified by the way of comparative experiment.After the research,the main conclusions are as follows: first of all,the main problems in teaching are summarized.Specifically,it includes: the single teaching method of teachers,the lack of students’ interest in learning,the low professional level of teachers,the lack of practice sites,and the low satisfaction of students with teaching quality.Then,two teaching classes of the same grade are randomly divided into experimental class and control class.The experimental class adopts the integrated teaching mode of theory and practice,while the control class adopts the traditional teaching mode.After one semester of teaching,the comparative teaching experiment confirmed that the final examination scores of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class,and the scores of learning interest,practical ability and teaching satisfaction were also higher than those of the control group(P < 0.05).The experimental results confirm the application value of the teaching mode of integration of theory and practice.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of the teaching mode of the integration of theory and practice in the course of garden plant cultivation and maintenance,including: changing the teaching concept,enriching the teaching means and methods;improving the teaching practice environment,enriching the practice activities;strengthening the double teacher team and compiling the practical teaching materials;paying attention to the construction of multiple evaluation system,so that students can participate in the evaluation,etc.
