Study On Farmers' Participatory Management Of Farmland Water Conservancy Projects In Xuzhou

Agriculture is one of the pillars of economic development in Xuzhou.Without the support of infrastructure such as water conservancy projects,it is difficult to develop agricultural economy.At present,there are many problems with the farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou,such as serious aging and disrepair,underinvestment,insufficient of farmer's participation.Under this background,it is necessary to study the problems of management of farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou and the application of participatory management model of farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou.Based on the relevant theory of management of farmland water conservancy projects,summarizing the domestic and foreign literature,combined with the current situation of management of water conservancy projects in Xuzhou,this paper investigated and analyzed the problems of farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou.According to the management experience of other countries and regions,the incentive effect of farmers' participation in the management of farmland water conservancy projects is analyzed theoretically.Based on the results of theoretical analysis,this paper investigates the current situation of management of farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou and the factors that affect farmers' willingness to participate.Logistic Model is used to analyze the influencing factors of participatory management of farmers in Xuzhou area.The main results are as follows: the degree of participation of water conservancy project management of farmers is low in Xuzhou,and 92.46% of the surveyed farmers have never participated in water conservancy project management activities.However,farmers have a strong willingness to participate.The main factors that affect farmers' willingness to participate are the educational level of householder,ratio of non-farm member and ratio of agricultural income.The educational level of householder and ratio of agricultural income are positively correlated with farmers' willingness to participate.However,the ratio of nonfarm member is negatively correlated with farmers' willingness to participate.At the end of the paper,three cases of farmers' participatory management of farmland water conservancy projects are analyzed,including Guanshan town,Shouxian town and Tushan town.And the countermeasures and suggestions of farmers' participatory management of farmland water conservancy projects in Xuzhou are put forward.The main innovations of this thesis are as follows.Firstly,a questionnaire survey is conducted on the current status of water conservancy project management in Xuzhou.Secondly,the influencing factors of participatory management of farmers in Xuzhou are analyzed used Logistic Model.Thirdly,three examples of participatory management of farmers are carried out,and on this basis,specific modes of participatory management of farmland water conservancy projects in different areas of Xuzhou were proposed.There were 3 figures,25 tables and 52 references in this dissertation...
