Comparative Analysis Of Application Effect Of Nasal Septum Cartilage And Ear Cartilage In Rhinoplasty

Objective: Based on the measurement of preoperative and postoperative nasal data of patients with rhinoplasty and the collection of changes in patients' satisfaction degree,the application effect of nasal septum cartilage and ear cartilage during rhinoplasty was studied.Methods: From December 2018 to November 2019,84 patients with rhinoplasty were selected to be treated in the orthopedic surgery department of the fifth affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university,among whom 39 cases were treated with nasal septum cartilage and 45 cases with ear cartilage.All patients were required to measure the nasal data before operation,fill in the satisfaction survey and score questionnaire,and then fill in again and measure the nasal data again during the half-year follow-up after the operation,and compare the data of the two groups before and after the operation to observe the surgical effect and patient satisfaction.Resluts: The length of nasal dorsal,width of nasal tip,height of nasal tip,nasal tip Angle,nasal frontal Angle and nasolabial Angle of patients in each group were all improved.There was a significant difference before and after surgery(P<0.05),indicating that the surgery met the expected effect.The success rate of correction in patients with nasal septum cartilage and ear cartilage as fillings was 94.9% and 97.8% respectively,with no statistical significance(P>0.05).The complication rates of using nasal septum cartilage and ear cartilage as implants were 5.9% and 2.3% respectively.In the satisfaction survey,the improvement of patients' satisfaction in the ear cartilage group was significantly higher than that in the nasal septum cartilage group.Conclusion: Both the nasal septum cartilage group and the ear cartilage group could effectively improve the shape and shape of nasal tip.The incidence of complications in the ear cartilage group was lower than that in the nasal septum cartilage group,and the patient satisfaction was higher.Therefore,ear cartilage was recommended as the filling material for nasal tip reconstruction.
