Clinical Study Of The Complex Pinellia Ternata TCM Formula In The Treatment Of Sj?gren's Syndrome With The Deficiency Of Qi And Yin And Its' Effect On Serum IL-17 And CXCL13

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect and security of complex Pinellia Tern-ata TCM formula on SSwith the deficiency of Qi and Yin and its effect on serum IL-17 an-d CXCL13 in patients with SS.Methods: According to the admission and discharge criteria of SS,38 cases with SS patientswere randomly assigned to a control group,or to a tria-l group,each group was 19 patients;20 cases in healthy control group were included as well.The control group was given hydroxychloroquine and TDP capsule,and trial group to-ok complex Pinellia Ternata TCM formula,based on the standard treatment group for 1month.The data of the two groups before and after the treatment,such as ESSPRI,ESSD-AI,TCM symptom score,ESR,CRP,Immunoglobulin,Liver function,Renal function and Whole blood cell analysis were analyzed.At the same time,the serum IL-17 and CXC-L13 were compared between SS patients and healthy control group.Results:(1)Compared with control group and trial group,the ESSPRI ?ESSDAI and TCM symptom score of each group had significant difference(P<0.01)after treatment;aftertreatment,trial group was better than control group about improving dry mouth,a subitem of TCM symptom score and had significant difference(P< 0.01)compared with that before treatment;(2)Aftertreatment,the ESR of trail group had significant difference(P< 0.05)compared with that before treatment;(3)There were no statistical difference(P> 0.05)about Liver funct-ion and Renal function between the two groups;(4)The levels of CXCL13 in patients with SS was increased than those in normal people(P<0.05).No statistical difference(P>0.05)about the serum IL-17 and CXCL13 between control group and trial group.Conclu-sion:(1)The combination of HCQ?TGP and the combination of complex Pinellia Tern-ata TCM formula could improve the clinical systoms of SS,and the symptoms of dry mouth with SS better than the combination of HCQ and TGP;(2)The curative effect of HCQ and TGP and the combination of complex Pinellia Ternata TCM formula in relievin-g SS was not related to the levels of IL-17 and CXCL13 in serum;(3)The levels of CXC-L13 in patients with SS was increased than those in normal people.
