Interpretation Report On China Rising Forum At Harvard Kennedy School Of Government

For the time being,people's rights and interests and living quality are closely associated with the domestic policy and international relationship in the process of increasing globalization.We usher in the information network era,under which we can consciously focus on current events both at home and abroad and the development trend of the relations between countries.Held by Harvard Kennedy School of Government,China Rising is an interview focused on China-US relationship and China-US cooperation mechanism in which matters such as North Korea nuclear issue,Strategic and Economic Dialogue and cyber security are under discussion from the perspective of western politicians,and reflects an epitome of relations between countries under the background of globalization.It can be regarded as an entry point for the audience to deeply and systematically understand the China-US relationship and the present international situation.This interpretation practice is based on interpretive theory as the theoretical framework,and centered on the core idea of interpretive theory.This interpretation practice is conducted under the instruction of interpretive theory,the interpreter abides by the three processes proposed by interpretive theory,namely,comprehension,deverbalization and expression,and tries to capture the meaning of the original language without being affected by its linguistic form,and then analyses the guidance and application of interpretive theory with explanation of cases to enrich the example illustration of interpretive theory application in interview interpreting practice.The report includes six parts: 1)description of the practice,including an introduction of the project,contents and requirements of the task and the interpretation as well as the reason and purpose of choosing this material;2)task process,including the preparation before interpretation,the interpretation process and the examination after interpretation;3)literature review,including overseas and domestic research status of interpretation and research status of interview interpretation;4)overview of interpretive theory,including the formation andresearch status of interpretive theory,the main contents it and its application in interpretation practice;5)case analysis under the guidance of interpretive theory,discussing the application of interpretive theory based on the difficulty and feature of this practice material;6)conclusion,including unsolved problems and enlightenment of this interpretation practice.
