Tourism,as the pillar of the tertiary industry,poses an irreplaceable influence on the spread and exchange of the world culture at large.And the Red Tourism is a new way of tourism,it emphases the monument,landmark and revolutionary history,revolutionary deeds as well as the revolutionary spirit under the leadership of the CPC in the Second Revolutionary Civil War(1927-1936).Red tourism,with its special cultural connotation,has been popular all over the country and around the world.As a developing and specialized tourism product,the Red Tourism is featured with eminent Chinese characteristics and important political,economic and cultural function.It catches the eyes of our national and respectively local governments,and it's also welcomed by the massive tourists.The Red Tourism has been a new economic growth point in China.Ganzhou City,Jiang Xi Province is the old Soviet area,as well as a famous red tourist destination,a national historical and cultural city,and the cradle of the Hakka and the East River.All of these advantages make this old city be our first and foremost option.This project is a report after interpreting what the tour guide introduced in a twoday visiting of the famous Red Capital--Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province.During the interpreting process,the author should also clearly bear the strategies of in1 terpreting in mind,that is under the guidance of the Skopos Theory,be faithful to the reality what the tour guide said,and then the author should adopt translating strategies like amplification;omission;paraphrase and domestication,etc,so as to let the foreign tourist has a clearer and deeper understanding of the scenic spots and its history with the premise of not losing any meaning of the original text.This paper will focus on the problems and disadvantages which the author has made during her interpreting process,and it will also point out her implications after the project for her later interpreting work or for other students who want to be an interpreter later in their lives,and as a reference for the classroom teaching.
