The constant enhancement of social material as well as spiritual civilization has diversified tourists' demands.The traditional rural tourism destinations,which attract tourists depending on unique natural scenery,living environment,production patterns and rural scenery,can merely meet tourists' basic demands because of lacking the shaping of overall brand image.That is to say,traditional tourism cannot achieve an advantage in the increasingly fierce competition among rural tourism destinations.This requires rural tourism destinations to develop based on grasping the direction of national policies and establish brand awareness,so as to present a new experience by virtue of complete and unique brand image.The purpose of brand image design of rural tourism is to integrate the branding with village spirit concept through the analysis of natural,humanistic and industrial resources in tourism destinations.In this way,tourists and villagers can obtain cultural identity and sense of existence accordingly.Starting with the support policy for rural tourism development in China,this paper profoundly interprets the theories related to brand image design of rural tourism,and emphatically researches the design principles as well as methods of rural tourism brand visual image.Since vision is the most intuitive way to perceive the image,visual image design is the priority in the process of shaping rural tourism brand image.By means of principle of semiotics,this paper provides theoretical support for the visual design of brand image.Meanwhile,it puts forward the elements,principles and methods of visual design of rural tourism brand,and then presents the image design of rural tourism brand image in Langmuxi Village by taking it as the example.According to the design requirements,the brand image design of rural tourism in Langmuxi Village determines its image orientation through field research and audience analysis,which is manifested through visual image design.In addition,the research contents are verified by case,and the organic integration of topic theory and practice is established.On this basis,the specific ideas and strategies for the building of rural tourism brand are proposed and applied to the construction of beautiful village of Langmuxi Village as well as realize rural revitalization.This research expects to deepen the study of rural tourism brand building theory,support the principle construction and promotion of image design of rural tourism brand,and provide references for the brand image shaping of other tourism destinations.
