The thesis is a translation project report.The translation program mainly describes the corporate culture,the salary system,the anti star concept and the hedge funds of the Massachusetts Investment Management Company.The author deeply analyzes the economic phenomena in the social life and typical cases of companies,then draws rational conclusions and puts forward constructive opinions and solutions so that we can apply our knowledge to solve the practical problems in social and economic development.Massachusetts Investment Management Company is the global asset management company in America and is one of the oldest asset management companies in the world.The oldest fund of MFS is Massachusetts Investment Trust(MIT),which originated at the inception of the company and was the first open investment fund in the world.As a developing country,the development of open-end fund in our country need to draw successful experience from other countries.With the rapid growth of hedge funds in size and quantity,hedge funds have become an important part of the market.The company has discussed whether it should issue hedge funds to customers.The translator takes Nida's functional equivalence theory and combines with the practice of translation experience,selects examples,uses translation methods to analyse vocabulary and syntax when translating the report,which demonstrates the importance of functional equivalence theory in translation.
