With its unique flexibility and complexity,Chinese quantifiers have become a difficult point in the learning process of many learners who regard Chinese as a second language.This paper studies the errors of quantifiers in Chinese learners and their causes,and puts forward targeted teaching and learning suggestions.The article begins with a brief description of the uniqueness of quantifiers and the role of error analysis of quantifiers.Then,through the questionnaire analysis of 54 Chinese learners quantifier mastery.The results show that the proportion of primary,middle and senior Chinese learners who can master quantifier usage completely accurately and appropriately is low.At the same time,combined with the errors in the use of quantifiers in the questionnaire,this paper summarizes the common types of errors in the process of their quantifier acquisition,namely " individual" extensive,confusion,wrong generation,omission and false addition.The causes of errors are analyzed,such as the negative transfer of mother tongue,the negative transfer of target language knowledge,the lack of emphasis on the application of teaching theory,the singleness of teaching method,and the avoidance of difficult words by learners.The causes of errors are analyzed,such as the negative transfer of mother tongue,the negative transfer of target language knowledge,the lack of emphasis on the application of teaching theory,the singleness of teaching method,the avoidance of difficult words by learners and the difference of cultural background.
