| With the accelerating globalization and the growing of China’s comprehensive national strength,China now has an increasing influence on international trade and political affairs.Besides,exchanges in politics,economy and culture are increasingly frequent among countries,especially among eastern and western countries.In the long run,English will play a more and more important role in the world.So we need much more practical talents,which places a higher demand on our English teaching.But,our high school English teaching,which plays a connecting link in the English education system,still has a long way to go to meet that goal.This essay hopes to draw some experiences of classroom management by analyzing New Oriental’s teaching model,in order to provide references for high school English teaching.Classroom management is a theory that bases on the theories of psychology,philosophy,sociology and management etc.It attaches importance to classroom interaction through creating an appropriate learning atmosphere.Classroom management,which is the most complicated field in education system,focuses not only on the improvement of teaching quality,but also on the long-run learning process of students.This article first did a comparative study of the guiding concepts and management objectives of English teaching in New Oriental and the average high school.Then it comparatively analyzed their concrete steps of classroom management.In this part,the essay mainly analyzed the following aspects:classroom environment management,classroom atmosphere management and classroom discipline management.Finally,this article proposes that,in order to enhance the classroom management,our high schools should create a student-centered classroom management model,set up efficiency as the guidance of classroom management goal,and attach importance to the developmental function of classroom evaluation. |
