The Error Analysis And Teaching Methods Of Chinese Characters Written By Foreign Students

In Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL),Teaching of Chinese characters has always been a difficult point.Chinese character is the foundation of reading and writing,and also the factor of influencing the quality of Chinese study.Studying Chinese character has been a difficult part for foreign learners,because Chinese character and their native language have differences in the pronunciation system,mode of thinking and configuration.These factors have increased the difficulties in their Chinese learning,it also weakened their interest in learning Chinese.People keep working on analyzing Chinese Structure,and try to combine the result with teaching of Chinese Character,but they barely combine the result with teaching of Chinese character to foreign learners.So this thesis mainly summarizes the features of Chinese character,research on error analysis of Chinese character writing made by foreign students,and in the end make some suggestions.This thesis has three main chapters to discuss about features of Chinese character,error analysis of Chinese character writing made by foreign students and some suggestions.Chapter one mainly talks about some Chinese characters are not ideographic anymore,which has become phonographic,because of the change of Chinese character from ancient character to modern character.And chapter one also talks about the complication of strokes and components of Chinese character.Chapter two mainly talks about the Chinese character writing errors made by foreign students and analyzes the main reasons from three aspects,including Chinese character’s features,foreign students’ personal reasons and teaching strategies.Chapter four,according to the errors and reasons mentioned in chapter three,I offer some teaching strategies and some specific suggestions,which will help teachers to teach Chinese character to foreign students more effectively.
