Objective: This study explores and summarizes the hardiness of college students on the basis of previous studies on the former.Six college students who were affected by the hardiness were selected as subjects of study.Prove the validity of Meta-cognitive Intervention Technique on the hardiness of college students through multiple baseline research methods.Depth study of the psychological mechanisms to deal with the hardiness of college students.And interposing the key factors of this issue to enrich the clinical practice experience of psychological intervention on this issue.Methods: Six college students were selected as subjects.The subjects were screened and identified by the College Students Hardiness Declarative Scale(CSHDS)and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS).Subjects selected were intervened by using the Meta-cognitive Intervention Technique.Using multiple baseline method of the small sample compares the same subject's different questions.Comparing changes in the subjects' behavioral indicators before and after the intervention and comparing score changes in the College Students Hardiness Declarative Scale(CSHDS)and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)to prove the validity of Meta-cognitive Intervention Technique on the hardiness of college students.Results: After the formal intervention,the total score of the College Students Hardiness Declarative Scale(CSHDS)was significantly improved in the six subjects,and the total score of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)was significantly decreased.Multiple baseline charts show that six subjects of the target behavior indicators have changed significantly.Through the late return visits,there were no recurrences in the six subjects.Conclusion: the hardiness of college students can be effectively promoted by using the Meta-cognition Intervention Technique.In the process of solving,it is found that the subconscious factor behind the hardiness of college students plays a decisive role in solving problems.We need to see and solve the conditioned emotional responses in the subconscious mind,so as to effectively correct the irrational thinking and behavior caused by the emotion of college students.so that college students can cope with all kinds of frustrations encountered in life through positive thinking and behavior.
